Me: God damn ads.
* does not make a U-turn, takes a side street to get back into the correct road
Navigation: "In 1 mile, turn right, and immediately left. Banks calling you? Collectors knocking on your door? Feeling alone against the IRS? Call the Law Office of George, Michaels, And Bluth for your free consultation! Call 1-800-LOAN-A.../ Turn right.... Recalculating... Make a U-turn when it's safe."

I'll be honest, I'm not looking forward to a (near) future wherein ads are streamed towards me while I'm driving. It's bad enough that I hate receiving spam in my email, and telemarketers calling me pisses me off. If they offer this as a very premium add-on that I can check off my car configuration, I might be ok.

I'm torn on it.
If they made the car way cheaper, I might be able to deal with it. But if it's just the same price as today, but now I get ads in my car? Eff that.
The patent sounds like it's more for targeted ads through existing ad platforms. Like if instead of normal radio ads, during radio breaks you got ads targeted to you. That would be fine because it's no different than what we have now.

This is assuming that there will be some kind of synchronization between your car ads versus ads being streamed via the radio. I can see this working if you use XM or some satellite stuff, though.

Well yeah, it's a patent. I doubt it's anywhere close to production ready. I hope it's not at least...
Could make buying a used car interesting. Getting ads meant for the previous owner
